All cross-stitch work requires much effort and time, especially photo cross-stitch patterns. The photo used must be chosen carefully.
If you select one of those pictures and we decide it is not appropriate, we might ask you to send us a different picture or find it necessary to refuse your order. We ask your understanding in this matter.

A custom-made pattern comes complete with: completed color image, black or color symbol charts (150% print-out), floss chart and floss usage. It will take about 2-3 days after receipt of your photo to make your pattern, depending on the difficulty.

Using the water erasable pen, draw lines on the fabric for every 10 stitch counts and number every grid (block). There is no need to mark the whole fabric at once, do a bit at a time. The markings of the water erasable pen will remain.

Start your work (with page 1) in the upper left corner of the fabric rather than at the center which is the traditional way. Stitch one grid completely before moving on to an adjacent one.
Start stitching with a symbol that appears the most in the block, continuing in this manner until the entire page is stitched. Remember that you have to keep your stitching going in the same direction, meaning if you start your stitch by entering the needle from the left bottom and going to the upper right then you have to keep all stitches going first from the left bottom to the upper right before you go from the right bottom to the upper left. This makes for neat work. Use the corner numbers on each page to determine which page you are to begin next to or below the one you just finished. After you finish stitching a grid, you can mark it off on your pattern with a highlighter to help you keep track of your finished work.

MORE TIPS
* have needles threaded with different colors of floss so that they will be ready and you won¡¯t have to change floss each time you move to a different symbol
* you may feel let down as you work on the initial blocks, but don¡¯t give up, keep stitching and as you make progress you will see shapes appear. You will be amazed to see the design develop before your eyes
